Monday 20 Mai 2024 in Lo Stagnone

The normal wind forecasts were not so good but the superforecast gave hope for
12-15 knots from the north-west.

It was supposed to start at 10am… but at 10am it was still quiet everywhere and the obligatory tourist spots were still unvisited.

As was almost predictable for Lo Stagnone and the wind and weather conditions, we started a little later.

At 2 p.m. the Scirocco came from the south-west with 14 knots – later with up to 20 knots.

The kitespots in the south had a slight advantage here and the schools were able to introduce their students to this great water sport at Whitsun.
and start or continue their training.

The holidaymakers at Whitsun had placed their bets on one of the safest kitespots and its wind and weather conditions and, as is so often the case, they were not disappointed.

With almost 300 windy days a year and a unique flat water area, Stagnone is probably one of the best kitesurfing locations in the world.
